Who are we?

Hello! I’m Louise and I own Sharpening Solutions together with my husband and business partner, Joe.

We love this line of work and find it very rewarding.  There is satisfaction in restoring a sharp edge to a blade, or blades, so that another person's work is easier, faster,  or more pleasurable.

How did it start?

Both of us come from corporate, financial backgrounds, but in 2002 I re-trained and qualified as a dog groomer.  Working with scissors and clippers every day, it was only a matter of time before the idea of sharpening was born.
   
Sharpening Solutions was established in 2011 and continues to go from strength to strength. ​

What's our aim?

It’s simple, our aim is to provide good quality, affordable sharpening with great customer service. ​

And the future?

We are passionate about sharpening and will continue to learn new skills and techniques to bring you great quality sharpening. 
 
Our biggest challenge is letting people know about our service, so tell all your family, friends and neighbours, your colleagues at work, random people in the street, etc...you get the gist!  Thank you!​
